Contemporary chamber music in balance between writing and improvisation.

The piano has an obligatory written part (the monolith).

The other musicians improvise according to a visual score made up of a few essential indications:

A) musicians who play broken objects of common use, executing rhythmic patterns of their own impromptu invention;

B) musicians who play broken or defective musical instruments, using a pre-established series of notes.

The recording was deliberately carried out in an acoustically non-isolated environment to allow the sounds of the surrounding landscape to "participate" in the musical performance.
